Interested in submitting to this journal? We recommend that you review the About the Journal page for the journal's section policies, as well as the Author Guidelines. Authors need to register with the journal prior to submitting or, if already registered, can simply log in and begin the five-step process.

Publication process

Publications can be submitted in Open Document Format (ODF), in Rich Text Format (RTF), as a Microsoft Word file (doc or docx), and as a LaTeX file (tex). Templates (LaTeX/Word) are available to create the files. Please upload all files related to LaTeX as ZIP archive.

Publications can be submitted to the journal or, if applicable, to the local reviewer of the author’s institution. For the first option, please mention the local reviewer during the initial submission (in the comment).

Peer Review Process

It is then checked whether the publication fulfills the journal’s criteria. The article is prepared in accordance with the journal’s layout and sent to the author and at least two reviewers for approval. The submitter may appoint a local reviewer of the submitter’s institution if such a role is available. Further reviewers are appointed by the editorial board. If deemed necessary by the editorial board on the basis of the reviews, the authors are asked to amend their submission.

After final approval by the editorial board, the article is published in the “Current” section.
